  • Starting AMS Server and Agents at boot

What is the recommended method for starting AMS Server & Agents at boot on Linux platforms?

    Thanks in advance.

I wrote an /etc/init.d startup script for Ubuntu Linux that handles starting and stopping the AMS agent. I've attached it.

You'll want to take off the ".txt" extension, of course; and set the executable bit:
    Code:
    chmod +x ams-agent
    Then a quick
    Code:
    sudo update-rc.d ams-agent defaults 20
    and you're ready to go.
