is there any option to include a login screen to enter to insight, and keep login session?

  • #2
There isn't any authentication management, since Insight is meant as a developer tool.

What use case you have in mind that will be helped by a login screen?

exactly, something like a login screen, it is not difficult to implement.

I will like to understand the use case. Currently, Insight is like a debugger or profiler. Since you wouldn't secure a debugger, we need to know what use case a login screen will solve.

Simplest way to do it yourself, if you would be ok with just the browser Login box that pops up.

Enable security in the insight/WEB-INF/web.xml file, and setup Basic authentication, and let tomcat do the authentication for you.
