  • specify -D property file

    I'm attempting to specify a property file using -D in setenv.bat
    I've tried putting the -D on the end of the JAVA_OPTS line
    set JAVA_OPTS=%JVM_OPTS% %AGENT_PATHS% %JAVA_AGENTS% %JAVA_LIBRARY_PATH% -Dproperty.file.url=file:///e:\vfabric-tc-server-standard-2.9.2.RELEASE\myapp\properties\property.xml

    In my application I call System.getProperty("property.file.url") but a null value is returned

    My server is running as a windows service. I can't find a log file that outputs my JAVA_OPTS to confirm that the -D param that I added is used.

    Any suggestions?

    The proper way to specify a -D param is via wrapper.conf. I added:
    wrapper.java.additional.10="-Dproperty.file.url=file:///e:\vfabric-tc-server-standard-2.9.2.RELEASE\myapp\properties\property.xml"
