  • Accessing SWF2 RequestContext Outside of FlowHandler

    Hi there,

I'm interested in allowing Ajax requests to do binding and validation on my scope'd models prior to submit (I'm not using JSF btw). I'm needing general guidance on the best approach to do this; how do I intercept requests before SWF2 attempts to transition, yet still have the RequestContext or scoped instances available so that I can convert/bind/validate using the normal conversion/formatter/validation SPIs?

The interplay between the FlowHandler/FlowController/AjaxHandler and so on is confusing me at the moment. (I've seen the Tip at http://www.ervacon.com/products/swf/tips/tip1.html, but that relates to an older SWF and its not clear if the approach is still relevant).

Any general direction would be extremely useful!

    Regards,
    Paul

I just realised that I think I can do this using a custom View implementation.
