  • CompositeAction Setup

    Greetings!!

    Is there an example of a java base flow (JBF) composite action? I would like to, upon entry of my view state to, (1) setup my form, (2) setup reference data, (3) setup a tree.

    I would normally just use "named actions", but since the step above should be done upon entering my view state, it seems a CompositeAction is the way to go.

    Anyway, I just don't know the best way to go about it. Should I extend CompositeAction and override doExecute(RequestContext context)? Perhaps I should just pass the CompositeAction constructor an array..... viewState.setEntryAction (new CompositeAction (array of actions))?

    An example, would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Curtney

    Code:
    addViewState("stateId", "viewName", transition).setEntryAction(
       new CompositeAction(new Action[] {
          method("setupForm", action("myFormAction")),
          method("referenceData", action("myFormAction")),
          action("myTreeSetupAction") }));

        Hi from Barcelona!

        I provided a response on this subject of action chaining on the architecture forum here:
