  • Access Denied state not accesible

    Hi. I have a problem.

I have a main flow which handles all generic navigation issues.
One of the things it should handle is displaying error messages like: Access Denied and such.

The problem I have is that in my flow I have defined a set of subflows and a <view-state id="error403">.
When user tries to access one of the flows which is not allowed to access then I have an accessDeniedHandler that catches the AccessDeniedException and redirects the user to the main flow.

The problem is that in the main flow, the currentState is still the subflow which caused the AccessDeniedException, so it tries to resume the flow (which was paused) and opens it again, this time obviously without catching the exception and so I end up with the exception in the face of the user.

I know the easy way would be to redirect the execution to another flow, but I was wondering if it was possible to signal an event when catching the exception, so that the flow can be sent to the state I want.

    Best regards.
