  • Webflow 2.0 and Spring Modules validation (Bean Validation & Commons Validator)

    Hi,

Has anyone succeeded in combining Spring Webflow 2.0 with the springmodules <https://springmodules.dev.java.net/> Bean Validation Framework or Commons Validator, or there a better approach under SWF 2.0 available?

    Cheers,

    Fred

I'm wondering the same thing regarding the Bean Validation Framework (specifically, annotation-based configuration) and SWF 2.0. In the SWF 2.0.2 reference manual, section 4.8, there's a statement to the effect that we can use either declarative or programmatic validation, but then only programmatic examples appear. I'm not having much luck with annotation-based BVF so far and am wondering whether that's actually one of the declarative options available.

I looked at the Booking class in the sample app but that goes the programmatic route.

Hello, did you find an example with declarative validation?

There is a Jira open for 2.1 that may improve things

I read your tutorial earlier, is very good but is only for Spring MVC. I need to use annotated validators for Spring Webflow.

              Webflow2 and bean validator framework

How to use bean validator framework (annotation-based ) with WebFlow 2?
              Any idea?

Still no ideas for using the validator framework with WebFlow 2?
