  • What about Spring Web Flow 2.0 and ExtJS?

    Hi,
I did some searches over the internet and I found various pages stating that starting with webflow 2.0 there is and integration with extjs (for example http://ajaxian.com/archives/first-mi...-ext-framework)
I just downloaded the 2.0.1 release and I'm unable to find it. Has the integration with extjs been dropped(due to ext licensing change) or I'm missing something?
    Thanks,
    Giovanni

    Giovanni,

Yes, support for ExtJs in the Web Flow distribution has been dropped primarily because of licensing. Also, with the maturity of Dojo 1 and its friendly license, its emerged as the primary UI toolkit we're integrating. We are also seeing some demand for jQuery support as well.

Sad to hear that the integration has been dropped...
Keith, where could I found an example (or "best practice") on how to do that integration? May be in some sandbox?
      Thanks,
      Niko.

        hi Keith,

        sad to hear also...
but the great thing, people behind Ext and Spring are approachable...

please guide us by giving example or idea to use it...

        thanks a lot...

Yes it is given that SWF doesn't support ExtJs in nature.
but please give us some hints on how to combine those great pieces.
