Speaking specifically to the talking_about_count, there's currently no way to get that field short of using fetchObject() from GraphApi or by going lower level and using the RestTemplate obtained by calling Facebook.restOperations().

But you're in luck. I've just made available Spring Social Facebook 1.0.3.BUILD-SNAPSHOT in anticipation of upcoming breaking changes in Facebook's API (to be applied on July 10). I plan to cut a 1.0.3.RELEASE build sometime later this week or next week. All of the fixes for the breaking changes are in place and I'm now just looking to see if there are any other *small* improvements that I can slide into the release. This particular request you're making for talking_about_count sounds reasonably small, so I might just work it in.

As for shares_count, that also sounds reasonably small, but I'm not sure I know what you're talking about. Is that just another field on the Comment object? I can do the research, for sure...but I just want to make sure that I'm addressing the right thing. (For what it's worth, I don't see a shares_count on the Comment object: https://developers.facebook.com/docs...e/api/Comment/).

The issue described at https://jira.springsource.org/browse/SOCIALFB-73 involves a non-trivial change. And, that particular issue is short-sighted and focuses on just the Page object. If I solve that issue I want it to be a more generic solution that spans the entire Spring Social Facebook API binding. Doing the math: Non-trivial change times the entire API binding equals a large bit of work.

That's not to say that I won't do it. It's an important change. I just need to carve out time from other issues and decide the best and least risky approach. Now that I've bumped the dependency on Jackson up to Jackson 2, maybe there's some trickery offered by Jackson 2 that will make this a bit easier. I'll just have to research it.

FWIW, I just created https://jira.springsource.org/browse/SOCIALFB-122 to track this.

There is no way to to specify since and until in Spring Social Facebook 1.0.3.RELEASE. But the latest Spring Social Facebook 1.1.0.BUILD-SNAPSHOT builds do allow you to specify since and until by passing PagingParameters to getFeed(), getPosts(), getStatuses(), etc.

You can't specify the dates in date-string format, though. You'll have to convert them to long.
