  • I can't find the "retweet_count" property

Hi everybody. I hope someone can help me.

In the twitter REST API , when I obtain the json object from http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/retweets_of_me.json, the tweet object contains a "retweet_count" property with the number of retweets.

    My cuestion is

anyone knows where can i find the "retweet_count" property using spring social twitter?

Sorry my bad english and thanks in advance.

Spring Social doesn't capture the retweet count, but that'd be a good improvement to make. Open a new improvement issue at https://jira.springsource.org/browse/SOCIALTW and I'll look into it.

In case you haven't noticed, I have added a retweetCount property to the Tweet object (with a getRetweetCount() method).

Note that the retweet_count property is only returned from Twitter for status objects received from their main REST API (primarily timeline operations) and is not available in search results. Therefore, getRetweetCount() returns an Integer object and will be null if the response from Twitter did not have a retweet_count property.
