  • Login Command

    Hello

Whats the role of the Login Command? I'm running jetty and trying to figure out if I need to write a custom jetty implementation or not. What also makes me curious is that it seems to make no difference whether or not I uncomment a particular command in my services-config.xml. I've also tried to set a breakpoint in the TomcatLoginCommand and enabled it for server="Jetty" but it didn't seem to be executed. Nonetheless the authentication process basically works, except for some strange conditions under which my security context gets lost after a while. Cause this be because of the wrong login command?

    Cheers, Stefan

When using the Spring Security integration, a special LoginCommand that uses the Spring Security API for authentication and authorization is automatically installed by the namespace. When using this, there is no need for a LoginCommand entry in your services-config.xml (and in fact, any existing ones will essentially get overriden).
