  • Spring 3 + Struts 2

    Hi,

I've created an EAR and have added the spring and struts jars to the APP-INF/lib folder. Does one need to add the spring related jars (e.g. spring-bean.jar, spring-context.jar etc) that came along with Structs 2.2 to the EAR as well?

Also, when I'm placing the Struts jar in the APP-INF/lib folder of the EAR I'm getting NoClassDefinitionFound Exceptions when i'm trying to start Apache Geronimo. But when I move the Struts jars to WEB-INF/lib this problem does not come. Is such a setup required for running a Spring 3.0 + Struts 2 J2EE project?

    Thanks,
    Varun

Jars should be in a place where the application has the access. WEB-INF/lib or application server's lib folder
