  • Spring MVC with DWR

    Hi,

I'm using Spring MVC 2.5.1 today using the controllers in the traditional way, which means returning to jsp pages. Our frontend team wants to start using DWR and I'm a bit confused regarding the controller class part in the DWR call structure. I would like it to be that all frontend call no mather if it's submit of a form, click on a link or called in javascript using DWR would use the methods of the existing controller classes and then the only difference would be what is returned by these methods. Am I thinking wrong here since I can't see any tutorials doing it this way, it's all about creating new DWR facade classes and specific DWRController classes?

Would be nice to get some info on the best way to implement DWR support in an existing classic Spring MVC application based on controllers.

    /Andreas

I successfully integrated Spring 3 with DWR 3 following this nice and simple guide: http://www.codercorp.com/blog/spring...notations.html
