  • problem with redirecting jsp pages

    hai users

    i have problem in redirecting jsp pages.I have a page

    sales.jsp in which i used <c:redirect url>to login.jsp page but i am getting the following error


    java.lang.IllegalStateException
    at org.apache.coyote.tomcat5.CoyoteResponseFacade.sen dRedirect(CoyoteResponseFacade.java:353)
    at org.apache.taglibs.standard.tag.common.core.Redire ctSupport.doEndTag(RedirectSupport.java:110)



    can anyone help me

    Make sure the response is not comitted.

    See the JavaDocs for sendRedirect.

        That's when you've written with the response object (or flushed some of your JSP). Once this is done, you can't send a redirect header (as headers must come first).

        If you could post your JSP(s) I, or someone else, could probably point out the problem.
