  • Integrate an existing Spring+Hibernate project as JAR into a Spring MVC project

    Hey Spring folks !
I'm stuck with Spring integration in a Web application so, don't be surprised if my question is too weird.
I created a separate Maven Spring+Hibernate project just to keep core business functions separate. Now I'd like to reuse the generated JAR in another Spring based WEB project. I have no idea how to stick all that stuff together (database connection, xml configs, etc.) as I find no examples, - all the actual books talk about Web projects that keep everything inside it (DAO, service, DB connection, Hibernate session, etc.).
When running from a separate class (from a simple main method) it works as needed. Now the question is how to reuse all this in a separate Spring MVC (or JSF, no matter) project ?
    Thank you.

This question is probably a better candidate for StackOverflow, perhaps with the "spring" tag.

Could you post your question there?
The forums are moving to stackoverflow, a page explaining all this will be available there in a few days: http://spring.io/questions
