  • How to define a default language??

    Hello,

I'm using spring's ResourceBundleViewResolver and ResourceBundleMessageSource for implementing a multilanguage application. The language change is working well. However, I'd like to know how I can define (in a xml, for example) application's default language, so the idiom would be setted when tomcat starts. I'm looking for something like this:

    Code:
    ...
       <language>pt</language>
       <country>BR</country>
    ...
Is there any parameter I can set in any spring class to set application language this way??

    Thanks in advance,

    Mauricio

    Hi,

I am not sure about it, but if you need default resource name it as e.g.

    ApplicationResources.properties
    and for other localizations:
    ApplicationResources_en.properties
    ApplicationResources_cs.properties
    ApplicationResources_br.properties
IMHO default resource bundle is defined only for fava server faces.
