  • Property value in eclipse

    Hi,
I inherited a really simple web app created using Spring MVC. I am trying to debug this app in Eclipse (using WTP) and running into a simple problem.

    - One of the spring bean configuration files expects a folder value in ${config.dir} variable.
    - When I build this project with maven, value of the property config.dir is set in the pom which is used for building the final app.
    - I am trying to debug this app in Eclipse and have created a WTP Server configuration. In this server configuration I created config.dir as a environment variable pointing to the right folder.
    - When I start the server in eclipse, the bean is not loaded and app fails with FileNotFoundException.

It seems like the config.dir property value is not recognized even though it is defined. Am I missing something? What else can I try to make this work in eclipse?

    Thanks.
    Sumit
