  • Accessing referenceData in SimpleFormController.onCommand()

    Is it possible to access a list set in referenceData() when handling onCommand?

    I suspect yes. If so, what is the correct way to do it?
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

    The following is the full scenario, in case it is needed for clarity:

    - I use a filter to narrow down a list of items on the page.
    - Each item has a checkbox to indicate whether it is selected.
    - I am using the String[] approach for the list of checkboxes.

    When implementing SelectAll / ClearAll functionality I 'could' get the full list of objects, apply the filter, then set the ID values for all of the filtered objects in the checkbox array.

    But I already did all that filtering in referenceData() and seems silly to do it again when the user hit the buttons. It would be much nicer/efficient to retrieve the list of objects that was passed to the page by referenceData()... and that is the reason behind my question.
Working...
