  • Problem with Umlauts-Encoding

    Hi there!
    I've got a problem:
    I want to include error-messages in jsps.

    Here's the code:
    Code:
    <form:form modelAttribute="registerFormBackingObj" action="changeQuestion.form" method="post">
        <form:errors path="*">
            <br/>
            <div class="error">
                <form:errors path="*" />
            </div>
            <br/>
        </form:errors>
        <!-- ... -->
    </form:form>
    However, if the error-message contains german umlauts, the encoding is wrong.
    That's only the case with error-messages: "Normal" messages (<fmt:message key="test"/>) are encoded right.
    I read it's possible to escape these characters with a htmlEscape-tag. But I also read that this brings security problems.
    What should I do?
