  • Scripting language for the weblayer.

At the moment I`m looking for a shortcut for small webapplications in the form of a Scripting Language. But there are so many of them that it is very hard to see which one to use. Does anyone know a nice scripting language (with good performance characteristics), that is suitable for the weblayer? And also integrates with Spring? (Like Groovy although I haven`t found weblayer support for it)

I don't know anything about the subject myself, but I came across this the other day which may be helpful:

      Thanks..

I have found the following project: Trails

Currently it uses Spring, Hibernate and Tapestry.. I like the fact that the domain objects are normal Pojo`s. But I haven`t got a good understanding of the rest (especially the weblayer part en how it integrates with Spring)
