  • Form POST and GET support?

    How can I support GET form posts?

    I have a controller (SimpleFormController)

    I have this method override, which never gets called:

    Code:
    	public boolean isFormSubmission(HttpServletRequest request)
    	{
    	    String method = request.getMethod();
    System.out.println("HTTP-METHOD: " + method);
    	    return true;
    	}
    I have tried putting this in my declared controller markup:

    Code:

    	<bean id="estTest" class="core.Controller">
    		<property name="formView"><value>test</value></property>
    		<property name="successView"><value>genericDisplay</value></property>
    		<property name="commandName"><value>testAction</value></property>
    		<property name="commandClass"><value>core.SimpleTestAction</value></property>

    		<!-- inject domain object -->
    		<property name="domainObject">
    			<ref bean="myTestDomain"/>
    		</property>

    		<property name="supportedMethods">
    		  <list>
    			<value>GET</value>
    			<value>POST</value>
    		  </list>
    		</property>
      	</bean>
    Please someone save me some long boring hours... spring rocks but man the forums, docs, briefs are LACKING.

    Thanks.

      ok fixed

      its works now, it seems it was more of a classloader/appserver issue rather than a spring issue. once the update pushed it was fine.
