  • Form with UTF-8 encoding - finally solved

    Hi,

I have a JSTL Adapter, showing my forms. Each of my jsp I have set the page
    Code:
    <%@page contentType="text/html; charset=utf-8" %>
    so my characters appear right.

But when I enter a special e.g: "" into the form and receive back the form (because of an error from my validator) I see the UTF-8 encoding of this character: "á"

    I have set in my web.xml locale-encoding-mapping-list to UTF-8.

How can I set form encoding to decode input parameters to right values?

    Thanks for any help.
    Thomas

    SOLUTION:
So finally after a desperate search, I've found the CharacterEncodingFilter in Spring API. This solves the problem correctly.
