  • Validator Class is not all calling - SimpleFormController

    Hello

i am new bie to Spring framework. i am trying to do validation for login page.
i am using SimpleFormControler as controller and Validator for validation.

The form jsp(login.jsp) is opening properly. But the validation is not being done in the Validator class as i click submit button. When the login page is opening or click the submit button, it is always calling formBackingObject(). But not at all validation is done and doSubmitAction method is also not at all called.

The needed beans are configured in springapp_servlet.xml.

Please help to figure out the problem. Thank you in Advance.

    Regards,

Some code and partial configuration of your environment would be helpful...

    But here are some pointers

    - Have you configured your validator(s) correctly?
    - Isn't there an error being throwed
    - Have you overriden some onSubmit method, if so doSubmitAction isn't going to be called anymore.

      Hello Marten Deinum,

Thank you for your answer. As you said, some configuration problem.
      I mistakenly configured as
      <property "sucessView"><value>success.jsp</value></property>

      instead of

      <property "sucessView"><value>success</value></property>

After i changed it. now it is working. Thank you for your help.
