  • Hardcoding extensions in JSP

    Hi,

    I am a Spring newbie.

I use an extension .html for thedispatcher servlet (maps to *.html) and so all my jsp's links use say login.html, register.html etc .

Can i avoid hardcoding the .html extension?

    Why?
so that if i change the configuration file in web.xml to point the DispatcherServlet -> *.to does not affect the application.

The FormTag and the HTMLLinkTag in struts did this job for us what do we have to do to achieve similiar functionality.

    Thanks,
    Manglu
