    For the following content in web.xml

    <context-param>
    <param-name>webAppRootKey</param-name>
    <param-value>@[email protected]</param-value>
    </context-param>

    <listener>
    <listener-class>org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoade rListener</listener-class>
    </listener>

    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>@[email protected]</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>*org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherS ervlet</servlet-class>
    <init-param>
    <param-name>contextConfigLocation</param-name>
    <param-value> /WEB-INF/spring/test-servlet.xml </param-value>
    </init-param>
    <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
    </servlet>

    My questions are:

    1) What is the webAppRootKey for?

    2) Must the @[email protected] in <param-value>@[email protected]</param-value> match that in <servlet-name>@[email protected]</servlet-name>?

    3) Why does people use @[email protected], instead of straight forward WEBAPP_NAME?

    Thanks
