  • Including Search Form on every page, how to go about it?

    Hi,

I am currently struggling with an issue where i have to include Search Form on every page of my web application. The web application is build using Spring MVC framework. When a page is requested it goes to its Controller class and bind its respective form object. The Search also has its own Controller and its formbackingobject() creates SearchForm object.
If I add a search form on each page, then what would be the best way to bind search form along with that page's respective form object.
If i dont bind search form then i am getting following error:
ERROR [BindTag] - Neither Errors instance nor plain target object for bean name 'search' available as request attribute

I would really appreciate your inputs regarding this issue. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards,
    djain

I'm having the same question right now. I was thinking about using an interceptor to do the binding of the search form but maybe there is a better way to do so?

    Thank you

    Nick
