  • Make an invoicing applications

    Hello everybody,

I'm a beginner with Spring, I want to make an invoicing application using spring, spring mvc, hibernate,
which can do this functionalities :
    - add / delete a new row http://www.examplet.buss.hk/jquery/table.addrow.php
    - make a calculation horizontal and vertical (to calculate the amount).
    - save multiple row at the same time on the database.

I am disturbed, is what I use jQuery with html or is there a component that can do that. (dataGrid, ...)

    Thank you very much.

    Hi,

Spring + Hibernate integration is easy enough and Spring provides great support for using Hibernate.

However, for the data grid (which sounds like what you're most interested in), Spring doesn't directly give you anything there.

Spring doesn't provide any JavaScript/AJAX data grids. Instead, Spring's approach is to allow you to freely choose whatever presentation "view" you want. You'll have to implement the data grid yourself using jQuery, DOJO, Ext JS, etc. and then after the data is posted to your web application, manage the data layer between your Spring app and your database using Hibernate.

If you're looking to get something up and running quickly using the development stack you mentioned, you might find Spring Roo to be a good fit: http://s3.springsource.com/MRKT/roo/...inutes_Roo.mov

    Thanks,
    Travis

If you give any contract of making invoice application online or system based. I am sure it will take lot for time fo rsetting it accurately to your business. I suggest you to make template of your business invoice here at http://www.fetchflow.com/invoice-templates and start using it for you invoices to send to your customers. It is free and time saving process.
