  • AntMatcher works differently on Windows and Linux

    Hi,

    I have an url pattern that can be matched by two handlers in my controler eco system.
    On Windows it will return A and on Linux it will return B.

    Now, originally, my path for B was longer than my path for A, which means that on Windows, Spring was behaving incorrectly as the documentation states that if multiple paths match, the longest one will be considered to be the most accurate and selected.

    However, I since made the length of B shorter than that of A, with no change in the resulting selections on Windows and Linux.

    Seems like a bug to me. The actual paths in my case are:
    A
    @RequestMapping("/*/??_??/{category}/cat/{catKey}/{categoryId}/")

    B
    @RequestMapping("/*/??_??/{cat}/{subCat}/svc/{catId}/")

    The request being
    /nederland/NL_nl/diensten/cat/svc/369/

    Marc
