  • Configuring JaxWsPortProxyFactoryBean for SSL

The JaxWsPortProxyFactoryBean works great for calling out to other web services... over http.

However, in the real world, most web services require you to send your requests over HTTPS using 2 way SSL authentication.

    My questions are:

How do you specify what keystore/truststore to use?

My keystore has multiple private keys in it. How do I specify which outbound key alias to use when calling out to a web service over HTTPS?

        Found this:
        http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E...t.htm#CIHICEHH

While it doesn't involve Spring, it shows how to use the PersistentSSLInfo type to specify which keystore/cert to use. The PersistentSSLInfo object could easily be injected by Spring as a bean.

Thank you very much. I'll try this out this morning.

It looks like that class is specific to Weblogic...

            weblogic.wsee.jaxws.sslclient.PersistentSSLInfo

              Sorry about that.

I overlooked the fact that this would be a weblogic specific solution. I still can't find a generic solution that works for all J2EE containers.
