  • org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: ...

    Hello,

    I've read a couple of old threads about that issue but can't figure out how to resolve it.

    I have a Spring WS client that works fine when ran as a standalone utility, but I get the following failure as soon as I try to integrate it in an application deployed on OC4J:

    Code:
    Line 2 in XML document from class path resource [applicationContext.xml] is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'beans'.
    I'm running this in a development environment where there is no internet access.

    My applicationcontext file contains:

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    <beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans"
        xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
        xmlns:util="http://www.springframework.org/schema/util"
        xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-2.5.xsd
        http://www.springframework.org/schema/util http://www.springframework.org/schema/util/spring-util.xsd">

    ...

    </beans>

    From what I understand, as long as I have the corresponding xsd files in one of my Spring jar files, everything should be fine.
    I have verified that in spring-beans-2.5.6.jar I have the spring.schemas and spring.handlers text files as well as the xsd files in the proper location.

    Could anyone see what I've missed?

    Thanks in advance.
