  • Spring-WS without Maven

    Hello All,
I am new to Spring-WS. The sample tutorials that comes with the download uses Maven for building the application. Is there a simple hello world application that does not use Maven and that can be run within Eclipse IDE? Thanks for your help in advance.

    Thanks,
    dram

The easiest way to get the samples to work in eclipse would be... to use maven.

Making the the samples work in eclipse without maven is quite easy. Just create a regular WTP project and copy paste the source files and the jars to the appropriate folders. It might be tedious but it's easy

Installing Maven is easy, using Maven is easy ... life get so much easier when I don't have to worry about the JAR dependencies etc

Not if your company firewall blocks it entirely.
