  • CastorXML and object with many fields

    Hi,
I have this problem. I'm using Spring-WS with CastorXML.
I have object (POJO) with many fields and it's very expensive to exchange between server and client the object with all its fields.
I wish to exchange the different version (with a sub-set of fields) of same object. I could be link the marshal of object to
xsd files instead the java classes.
If you have the problem's solution or other ideas please answered me.

    Thanks, for your help.

I think you could do this by defining multiple castor mapping files, and wiring up multiple castor marshallers, each with its own mapping file. Then use the marshaller which is applicable.

That said, I have not done this, so YMMV.
