  • Logging soap envelope using SoapEnvelopeLoggingInterceptor

    I am using the following interceptor in my servlet endpoint mapping, to log the soap envelope....

    <bean id="secureMapping" class="org.springframework.ws.server.endpoint.mapp ing.PayloadRootQNameEndpointMapping">

    <property name="interceptors">
    <list>
    <bean class="org.springframework.ws.soap.server.endpoint .interceptor.SoapEnvelopeLoggingInterceptor"/>
    </list
    </property>

    </bean>

    does this automatically log the incoming soapenvelope to Tomcat->Commons->Logging->Log folder?? or we need to set the path somewhere?
    Please help me out..

    SoapEndpointInterceptor uses Apache Commons Logging. So where it logs depends on your configuration and what logging library (log4j, jdk, ..) you are using.

      Logging with commons + log4j

      Hi, i can't get the LoggingInterceptor working.
      I'm using websphere 6.0 and log4j as my loggingImpl

      In my endpoint i can do a manual log to Logger of log4j, but
      my LoggingInterceptor is not working...
      what can i do? log4j levels are on debug for the spring ws packages...

      Thanks,

      Jeroen
