  • How do I set up a Spring Web Service Project in Eclipse

    Hi,

Can anybody give me some pointers on how to setup a Spring Web Service project in Eclipse?
The Web Service Tutorial on the Spring Web Service site does not use Eclipse, it uses Maven. I do not use Maven (yet).

Is there a Tutorial-like page on the internet?

    Thanks,
    Wouter

    Hi Wouter

You don't require Maven to create spring web service project... i feel maven will just help you in creating the folder structure.. So, setting up means you can create two projects, one for client and the other for service...

client has invoke method(one java file)
service can have endpoint, servlet.xml(for mapping endpoint)

http://gridshore.googlecode.com/svn/...ing-ws-sample/ hope this link helps you(it has sample client and server projects, which you can directly use in eclipse)
