  • Prefered JAX XJC usage with WSDL?

    Hello.

I have set of standard WSDLs that I must create web service from.

Now, I wanted to ask people do they prefer to manually extract "schema" parts from WSDL into .xsd files, and then use XJC upon this files, or to use XJC's experimential "-wsdl" option that can process .wsdl files directly?

I started going the latter way since it doesn't require any manual tasks, but stumbled upon problem of XJC not marking request/response classes as @XmlRootElement. XJC documentation states there is some out-of-specification <xjc:simple/> feature that should resolve these problems, but in my case it doesn't. :-(
