  • what technology to use for a web services client in Spring

    Hello,

I am trying to develop a web services client in the Spring Framework.
Candidates may include something like: Axis, Java Web Services Developer
Pack (Java WSDP), Xfire, Spring-WS and etc. Since I am new to the Spring Framework, does anybody has any recommendation?

The project is pretty tight in schedule and I may not have enough time to evaluate all those options. I had experience with Axis and XmlBean/Weblogic Web Services Control before.

    Thanks.

I think that if you have experience with Axis, and if you're pretty tight in schedule, you're better of using Axis .

Spring-WS's client-side code has only recently be finished, and is not part of any release yet (only in the snapshot downloads).
