  • Building samples with Maven doesn't work

    Good Evening,

I have just tried to build the samples again (posted same issue in a message with Eclipse in the title - this has nothing to do with Eclipse) and am getting nowhere. I'm afraid I know nowt about Maven and was hoping I could just install maven and run the simple commands as outlined in the readme files.

Anyway - it doesn't seem to work. I get this message.

    C:\java\spring-ws-2.0.2.RELEASE\samples\echo\server>mvn package
    [INFO] Scanning for projects...

     dependency information available

    What does this mean?

    Any help would be appreciated.

In the end I downloaded the 2.0.0-M1 release and the samples build in that version.

I dont know how to fix that either.

I just copied the jar into my local repository.

I got the jar from :

and i copied it into the local repository area:

      C:\Users\myloginname\.m2\repository\org\springfram ework\build\aws\ n\3.1.0.RELEASE

      then the build proceeded.

      Spring dev should fix this.
