  • SCM types not available in Checkout Maven Projects from SCM

    I'm at a loss as to how I've made this work in the past.

    I have a completely clean and updated STS 2.5.2
    I do File -> New -> Other
    Select "Checkout Maven projects from SCM"
    In the URL location, there is not a dropdown for SCM type ('svn' in my case)

    In my previous installation of eclipse (not STS) with the m2e plugin installed I had about 8 different types of SCM providers.

    Does anyone know how this list gets populated and how I get it re-populated?

    Self-answered (sort of)

    Per this SCM integration was removed.

    Per this it was re-established for SVN.

    Update site is available here.

    As you were.

      Thank you very much for your question and your answer.

      The solution works well for Subeclipse but not for Subversive, because the Subversive Integration for the M2Eclipse Project requires 'org.maven.ide.eclipse [0.10.0,0.11.0)' but STS comes with the 0.12 version.

      According to SCM integration removed you can find the older versions for m2 eclipse here: m2eclipse (at the bottom of the page)

      According the re-establishing for SVN you can download a compatible m2eclipse 0.12 from here

      At the end, I installed Subeclipse.

        Unfortunately, I think installing subclipse looks like the only alternative.
        I'm sorry I didn't see that you were using subversive. I hope it works out well for you.
