  • how to change the build path for a spring project?

    greetings everybody
iam using spring 3 on STS
and my project name is newProject
    but when i build it
it's builded in a folder something like that
    /home/username/Desktop/workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0/wtpwebapps/mvc-1-solution/

i want to change the name of the last folder mvc-1-solution
    to a newProject?
    how to do that
    thank you

    To rename an existing project:
    1. Delete the project from your workspace (but do not check the button to delete from the file system).
    2. Rename the directory on the filesystem.
    3. Use File -> Import -> Existing projects into workspace
    4. Select Directory
    5. Choose your project and follow the remaining steps to import (you probably want to make sure that the check box "Copy projects into workspace" is de-selected).

To create a project with a non-default location, you there are some options you can go through in the new project wizard.
