  • Why STS doesn't come with SVN?

All Spring projects are under SVN. But STS doesn't come with SVN. Does I miss something or I need to install SVN plugin on STS myself?

If you open the Spring Dashboard within the IDE and then click on the "Extensions" tab at the bottom of the page, you will find an SVN client in the list of things you can install easily.

Thanks Mark for your information. There are a few useful plugins along with SVN.

Hey! Why was SVN removed? Unser "Source Code Management" on the dashboard is no SVN anymore.
I don't wanna crash my STS, so, can somebody please tell me, what SVN-Client it was before?

          Ok, got it:
We removed the Collabnet SVN from the Extension install for non-Windows platforms as we were seeing lots of issues with the SVN Java native bindings on Linux and Mac.
          in release announcement for 2.3.1.
