  • Annotated Custom Namespace XSD schema file and Spring IDE

    Hi all,
I saw here, in one of the comments, that it is possible to annotate a custom namespace xsd schema to make it accessible to SpringIDE without having to write an extension.
I wasn't able to find any example anywhere on how this is done.
(honestly I don't know how to annotate an xsd file itself)
    My questions are:
    - how do I add annotations to the xsd file? Is there a guide out there (google was not very helpful this time)
    - how do I add an annotated custom namespace xsd file to Spring IDE?

    Thanks

    Hi rico,

the support for the tool annotations in Spring IDE has not yet been released. But it is available in the latest nightly or weekly builds if you want to give it a try.

I'm currently writing a blog post about using the tool annotations as well as the support for the import element in Spring IDE. That blog should be posted very soon.

    Regards, Christian

Do you have any idea about when this is going to be released? I saw on the website there is no date for the next release (I imagine it will be part of the next release, right?).

Thanks for your previous quick response.

The release dates are always documented in the JIRA roadmap at http://jira.springframework.org/brow...:roadmap-panel.
