  • Extending XML authoring

I built my application using Spring, however the Spring's standard configuration is too generic and not very intuitive for my application. Hence, I wanna extend the XML authoring ( which is doable according to Spring 's reference document ), but I don't know whether the extended XML authoring can be fully integrated in Eclipse ( the new XML authoring has no sense if auto-completion is not supported,.... ). Anyone has answer?

    Hi,

Here is the answer to your question: http://springide.org/blog/2007/04/05...om-namespaces/

Spring IDE exposes extension points that allow to contribute support for your own custom namespace. So, go ahead...

Your answer does not match my question, what I really need is the integration of my own namespaces in Eclipse. Anyway, thanks for your contribution

Maybe you should elaborate a little more about what you mean by 'my own namespace in Eclipse'.
