  • BeansConfig files list is empty in Config Files

I installed Spring IDE 2.0 Dev version and cannot see the list of BeanConfig files as mentioned in the SpringIDE Guide as follows:

use the button "Add..." to open a selector dialog providing a list of all BeansConfig files with the specified extensions in your SpringProject and select the corresponding Spring BeansConfig files.

Also, if I add a Spring web flow file, the file type is not showing as "spring web flow configuration file", it is just showing as "file". So, I cannot automatically add the xml elements or any other feature like graphic editor.

But if I load the existing sample application like phonebook, I can able to use the above features. If I create a brand new Spring project, many of the features are missing or I am not sure how to use it.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    mowgly.
