You must make sure that you are using Groovy 1.7.10. Go to Preferences -> Groovy -> Compiler and ensure you are using the correct version.

If that doesn't help, please paste some of your errors here.

This still does sound like a proxy error. How are you setting your grails proxy? Can you run grails compile from the command line?

On the command line, you can use add-proxy and set-proxy. I believe that this will also work for grails commands inside of ggts. More information here:

              http://grails.org/doc/latest/ref/Com...add-proxy.html
              http://grails.org/doc/latest/ref/Com...set-proxy.html

clear-proxy and remove-proxy are also commands. Clear removes all proxies, and remove is for a single named proxy.

Let me know if this works for you.

You said that you are trying to import a grails 1.3.7 project, but it looks like your workspace is set up for grails 2.0.4. You need to go to Preferences -> Groovy -> Grails and add a grails 1.3.7 instance. Either set that to be the default for the entire workspace, or set the project properties for this individual project to use this grails instance.

Is it possible to convert 1.3.7 grails project 2.0.4,If i am updating that i am getting errors.

It is possible to upgrade, but not simple or straight forward. I would recommend asking the best way to do this on the grails forum. There are lots of little things that need to change.

Here's the place to put your question:

Looks like you are trying to build a project where there are two packages coming from different source folders that have the same names, but with different capitalization. In windows, this means that the packages are the same, but in Eclipse, this is confusing and causes an error.

The package/folder is called this: '/branchV2/target-eclipse/classes/branchV2'. Do you know of any other folders out there with the same name, but different capitalization?
