  • Organize static imports

It's very handy when you write your tests or your production code to hit the shortcut for "Organize imports" when you're at the keys or just use the menu option. This both saves time and let's you focus on your code. After all the import is just a technical, however important, detail.

But if you need your import to be static this command doesn't work and I see no other option, like a modifier key or something similar.

How do you Organize static imports?

    Hi!

As far as I know, the Java tooling inside Eclipse includes organize imports also for static imports as part of the standard organize imports action. If you observe any problems/disfunction with that, please post an example where this doesn't work and we can take a look at it.

    Thanks,
