    Hey!

What version of STS are you using? (32bit vs. 64bit) What JDK version? Where did you install STS into (path)? Any steps to reproduce?

      I'm running sts-2.9.1.RELEASE with jdk1.6.0_30 64 bit

Roo just spits "null" with all commands.

        Hey!

Can you provide more details? Do you see errors in the Error Log view? And can you start STS from the command line and reproduce the error in order to see if anything on the command line shows up that could help to figure out what exactly is going wrong?

(please keep in mind NOT to install STS/Roo into the Program Files are on Windows)

My word, after a reboot it all worked. Restarting STS did not work, but a reboot did. Very weird. Thanks for the reply

And we're back again not working. I closed the project. deleted it and created another roo project. Bham!

STS is not installed in Program Files or Program Files(x86). Its installed in c:\java

              This is my Roo Shell:
Please stand by until the Roo Shell is completely loaded.

              This is my Log:

Leaving the other project open and creating another roo project, my log now looks like this:

                Hey!

The log piece that you posted doesn't show anything special here, I think. Could you start your STS from the command line and then do what you need to do in STS to reproduce this? Hopefully Roo is telling us more details in the console output from where you started STS.
