  • Kerberos Extension Java Configuration Example

I'm trying to setup Kerberos with Spring Security and I am new to Spring, Spring Security and Kerberos.
How can one go about configuring the kerberos extension via java configuration rather than XML? I don't know how to translate the example kerberos xml config from here https://github.com/spring-projects/s...erberos-sample to my java based config.

Alternatively, if configuring the kerberos extension via java config is not possible, is there a way to disable username/password logins either via form, or http basic login and just send all requests to a custom authentication provider that can do the kerberos authentication rather than the kerberos extension?

Getting the kerberos extension to work has been a very futile attempt so far.

First was a problem with the documentation listing a bad gradle config: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2...le-build-issue

Now that I took care of that, I'm getting this error:
org.springframework.beans.factory.CannotLoadBeanCl assException: Cannot find class [org.springframework.security.extensions.kerberos.K erberosAuthenticationProvider] for bean with name 'kerberosAuthenticationProvider' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/spnego-with-server-side-kerberos-option.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.springframework.security.extensions.kerberos.K erberosAuthenticationProvider

I think it's caused by me using spring security 3.2 vs an older version. Too bad that the kerberos extension documentation is non-existent.
