  • JSF 2 with Spring Security 3

    I am having some issues integrating jsf 2 with spring security. Specifically the jsf forwards prevent the spring security filter from being invoked so pages that match the URL intercept are being inappropriately displayed. Am I issing something simple here?

    Code:
     <filter>
            <filter-name>springSecurityFilterChain</filter-name>
            <filter-class>org.springframework.web.filter.DelegatingFilterProxy</filter-class>
        </filter>
        <filter-mapping>
            <filter-name>springSecurityFilterChain</filter-name>
            <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
            <dispatcher>FORWARD</dispatcher>
            <dispatcher>REQUEST</dispatcher>
        </filter-mapping>

    I don't use <dispatcher>FORWARD</dispatcher> in my springSecurityFilterChain, and I make sure that all navigation that crosses authority boundaries happens through a full HTTP GET (rather than a JSF forward).
