  • Spring Security & Siteminder - Dev and Prod Environments

    Hello Everybody,

I have a question regarding configuring SS in a development and production environment.

First off we're using Siteminder to auithenticate but also using SS to sort of re-authenticate, build our tokens and build a user object (please note that I am very new to Spring).

Siteminder will not be available for the dev environment, so I was going to use form based authentication to kind of create a mock login page/process. I assume this would require dev-web.xml and dev-appContext-security.xml files for this environment and another set for the production environment.

The main difference is that in my filterChainProxy, I am using a custom AuthenticationProcessingFilter to work with Siteminder for production and using another custom AuthenticationProcessingFilter.

Is the above correct? If so how do I go about switching environments? Or how can I have the build automatically know what files to load?

    Thanks for your help!
