  • Error importing users.ldiff into ApacheDS using JXPlorer

    Hi All,

    I downloaded ldap security spring sample and manage to run it using inline ldif file.

    Next I tried to import users.ldiff file into Apacheds using JXPlorer and I got the following error in import. Could any one help me identifying the issue. I am bit new to LDAP as well. Please excuse me if this is not relevent for this forum.

    javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: [LDAP: error code 32 - failed to add entry ou=groups,dc=springframework,dc=org: ou=groups,dc=springframework,dc=org]; remaining name 'ou=groups,dc=springframework,dc=org'

    Is there any other prefered way to set up directory structure of users.ldiff ?

    Thanks,
    Nalaka

    I manage to resolve this my self by editing server.xml file as follows;

    <property name="suffix"><value>dc=springframework,dc=org</value></property>

    ...

    ...

    <property name="contextEntry">
    <value>
    objectClass: top
    objectClass: domain
    objectClass: extensibleObject
    dc: org
    dc: springframework
    </value>
    </property>

      Yes. The ldif files that come with the project assume the default suffix "dc=springframework,dc=org" which is already set up in the embedded server used for testing etc.
